Structure and Content

The Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Business Management program aims to help students develop as an individual capable of taking on the challenges of life, as well as the working world. The program will provide students with the right guidance and services to do both and will nurture the key skills needed to succeed at the university and in the workplace. The studies and the way work is assessed will help students develop the skills that employers are looking for, such as communication, problem – solving, working with others, and improving your own learning and performance.

This innovative BA (Hons) program consists of 4 double credit courses and may be completed in 12 months as follows:

Pre-requisite modules (if applicable):

• Business Research Skills
• Using the Web (Business) 

 Next intake commences: March 2010

*Fee per pre-requistite module is S$481.50 (Inclusive of GST)

Entry Requirement

This advanced level BA (Hons) Business Management program accepts a wide range of qualifications. These includes:

• Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent in Business, Management, Accountancy, Banking, Finance, Industrial Management or related Engineering, IT and Technical areas
• Diploma / Advanced Diploma awarded by Kaplan Higher Education
• Diploma and/or Advanced Diploma from other private institutions will be assessed on a case-by-case basis

Delivery Method

Classes are scheduled 5 times a week with at least 3 hours of class time per session. Students must achieve a minimum 75% of attendance to be eligible for attending teh examinations. However, according to ICA requirement, students holding student passes must achieve and maintain a minimum of 90% of attendance.

Assessment Methods

Each course will be formally assessed through a combination of class participation, written assignments and/or examination.

Graduation and Degree

Student who successfully completed the program will be awarded with the prestigious BA (Hons) Business Management degree from University of Bedofordshire, UK.

The degree will be the same as that awarded to on-campus students of the University. Graduates will be allowed to use the title (BA (Hons) (Bedfordshire) after their names.

Graduation ceremonies are held yearly in Singapore and in UK. Graduates are encouraged to attend the degree convocation in UK with their families whenever possible.
