The Straits Times (26 Oct 2024) — School of grit: How failing grades changed the lives of successful people

Despite losing his academic momentum after his parents' divorce and a lengthy six-year journey to complete his Diploma, one graduate finally found his inspiration to continue his studies after witnessing his mother's concern and his friends' progress. He ultimately overcame his academic struggles, achieving both a Bachelor's Degree and an MBA with Commendation from Northumbria University via Kaplan (Singapore).
