About the Programme
The Master of Science (Global Finance) programme equips students with advanced global finance skills, fostering strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and critical enquiry for success in diverse markets. Graduates are prepared to work in intercultural environments, are digitally and numerically capable, and are driven by sustainability to address modern financial challenges.
University College Dublin’s transformative learning environment combines expert teaching with innovative methods such as case studies, project work, and teamwork. This dynamic approach enhances critical thinking, ethical governance, and leadership, preparing participants to excel in the global finance landscape.
Graduation & Degree Awarded
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Master of Science (Global Finance) from University College Dublin, Ireland.
The Degree will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates in Ireland.
Graduates will be allowed to use the title MSc after their names.

Class may commence with fewer students than indicated above, depending on resource availability. If there are changes to the scheduled commencement date, you will be informed at least 1 week before the scheduled date.

Admission CriteriaAcademic Requirements
This Master's Degree programme accepts the following qualifications, which includes:

A University Degree or a recognised professional qualification deemed equivalent to a Degree as outlined below. The candidate must have a minimum Second Class Honours Degree (or equivalent) in the following:
- Business, Commerce, and Management disciplines with Economics and Finance modules
- Data, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or Information Technology-related disciplinesApplicants should have demonstrated strong academic ability in a number of quantitative modules in their Degree, such as mathematics and/or statistics.
Other Bachelor's Degree qualifications (non-Finance) with completion of GMAT.
English Language Requirements- IELTS 6.5 or equivalent

1. Standard: Pay monthly instalments (Principal + Interest) once your loan is disbursed
2. Graduated: Pay only interest while studying, and Principal + Interest after graduation
3. Graduated Plus: Pay only interest while studying + 1 year after graduation, and pay Principal + Interest from third year onwards - Terms and conditions apply, subject to bank’s approval.
*Effective Interest Rate (EIR) is assumed on a 2-year course with repayment period of 8 years and Standard Repayment Method. The EIR comprises of 4.5% per year interest rate which is calculated on a monthly rest basis and 2.5% of processing fee of the approved loan amount that is applicable upon disbursement of loan.
