    If your ambition is to gain a senior site management role within the Construction industry, the Bachelor of Science with Honours Construction Management will set you on the right path.

    The Bachelor of Science with Honours Construction Management programme matches the needs of the industry, preparing you to be able to manage a construction project from inception and design through to occupation by developing your skills in management to enable you to deliver projects safely, on time, on budget and to the highest possible quality.

    The complexity of construction projects requires construction professionals who have expertise in construction management and can work effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds and construction disciplines.

    You will learn about the immediate and long-lasting effect which construction activities have on the environment, and discover sustainable, and environmentally sound construction methods, and innovative management practices. This programme has social innovation embedded in its core.

    After completing this programme, you will have a broad range of knowledge of the legal, technical, managerial, economic, social, and environmental aspects of construction projects, and be able to confidently manage both commercial and civil engineering projects.

     

    Graduation & Degree Awarded

    Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Bachelor of Science with Honours Construction Management from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom.

    The Degree will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates in the United Kingdom.

    Academic Requirements

    This Degree programme accepts a wide range of qualifications, which include:

    • Local Polytechnic Diploma in a related discipline.
    • Other qualifications in a related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in construction management may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

    In all cases, the final decision on admission to the programme rests with the University.
